You may get different kinds of odd errors if the Photoshop preferences file gets corrupt .

1. Exit Photoshop.

2. Go to: Documents and Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\8.0\Adobe Photoshop CS Settings
[In Windows 7 --%appdata% -- browse to -- Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Adobe Photoshop CS3 Settings

3. Delete the Prefs.psp file.

4. Open Photosop and the application will create a new (default) one.

To stop sharing a folder by using the Windows interface

Ctrl + Alt + delete on local session will give you the option to open the task manager, but what about if you are remoting into another server ? If you press Ctrl + Alt + Delete in a remote session it will pop up the Task Manager for your local station.

Ctrl + Shift + Esc (or) Ctrl + Shift + End opens Task Manager in a Remote Session

The credentials you provided for the SQL server Agent service are invalid. To continue, provide valid account and password for the SQL server Agent Service.

Today, I have decided to install SQL SERVER 2008 on my PC. All was going fine until I came to server configuration page/tab. I is not proceeding further and asking me to insert correct credential to move to the next page. If you are also getting the same error then just enter following data in Account name and password:

Account Name : "NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE "
Password : Blank

Cannot log in to the Team Foundation Server system at all - no combination of user accounts will be accepted

Scenario
I keep getting a TF31003 not authorized error no matter what I use to try to login with.

If I use the service account which is reported as being used in an info screen during the basic install (NT Authority\LocalService) or the administrator account I was logged into when I installed they both give the error.

Cause of the problem
I couldnt add the permissions to my main admin account because I dont have a password on my home computer admin .

Solution
I created a special account for using Team Foundation Server with, added a password then opened a cmd window in the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2010\Tools

and executed the following command:

tfsconfig accounts /add /account:"TFSAccount" /accountType:applicationTier /password:yourPassword

TFSAccount is the name of the TFS account I created
your Password is the password

The run option of Start menu is used to run a program or to open a document directly. If you do not know the exact location of the program or document then click on Start button to open

Run and type the programs shortcut name to open it directly.

Folder locker is one of the most used application for windows to lock some personal files. There is some time when we forget the password and due to which we are not able to acess some of our personal files/folders.

Today here I am writing how to open folder locked XP without knowing its password. So here the trick for those who forgot their password of folder locked xp or who wants to get into others personal folder.

To unlock just follow simple steps : -

Open “C:\WINDOWS”
Then just find regedit
Open It by double clicking there In The Left Side you will see Something like :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE just click it.
Then find the file name software In the list and open it.
Then Find The Name called EverStrike…. doubleclick It…..
You will see LF30 Just click it.
On the right Side Some thing will appear out of those Select the file named Password & Delete It.

To solve this issue
Go to registry editor
Start --> Run --> Regedit
Expand the keys
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\ShellSEM

Export the ShellSEM key, delete it, install SQL 2008 and then restore it.

you can do what you wish by highlighting each user name you want to remove in the log-on drop-down menu and then pressing «Alt+Delete» or «Shift+Ctrl+Delete».

Type %AppData% in the address bar of Windows Explorer or IE and it will display all the files in that folder regardless of whether they’re hidden or not, the folder has user name as its name, ...so who ever user u donot want to display just delete that folder name

Once u restart the system , that user disappears

Many of us come across such situation when u need to document teh details of every file in excel

If ur folder exists in D:\
"Anu" is the folder name

Go to Command prompt

Start menu --> Run --> cmd

>D:
D:\>dir /b *.*

It will display all files with in that particular folder
But to get all those file names into any excel file specify the path
or file name (if path not specified then thsi file will be genarated ib same folder where files exists )

D:\>dir /b *.*

So thats so simple to get file names at a time

If so, you will need to later combine the files into a single final document. You can do this using the Copy and Paste functions or using the method described in this document.

Windows:

In the file that will contain all files, place the insertion point where you want another file to be inserted

From the Insert menu, select File...
The Insert File dialog box appears.

From the Look in pull-down list, locate and select the file to be inserted

To insert the file as text, click INSERT
To insert the file as linked text, click theDown Arrownext to INSERT » select Insert as Link
NOTES:
Linking text allows you to easily update the inserted text if the linked document is still being edited.
When changes have been made to a linked document, right click the linked text » select Update Field.

To insert more files, repeat steps 1-4

Winrar is a powerful compressing software on the market. I prefer Winrar than Winzip (of course because it supports rar files, lol).

If you compress your file(s), you can enter the volume size in
"Split to volumes" field in the "archive name and parameters dialog"
in general tab to create volumes (multi part archives).

For your 10MB need you would type 10,000,000 in the box.
By default it is entered in bytes. But if you add a lowercase letter 'k' at
the end of the volume size, the entered value will be considered as kilobytes
(multiplied by 1024).
Use an uppercase 'K' to denote thousand of bytes (multiply by 1000), '
m' means megabytes and 'M' - million of bytes.

It is also possible to select the volume size from the list associated with
this item. Note that if you are archiving to a removable disk, you may select
"Autodetect" from the list and WinRAR will choose the volume size automatically
for each new volume.

Locate the Split to volumes, bytes drop down box and either choose a size or type in your own.

Google Chrome's incognito mode is less sophisticated than IE8's InPrivate browsing, but it has a feature that will be useful for those who have more than one Google account.

When you open a window in incognito mode (Ctrl+Shift+N), your cookies from the standard session are no longer available and you can easily log in to a new Google account.


Chrome's help center has more details about this feature. "Webpages that you open and files downloaded while you are incognito won't be logged in your browsing and download histories; all new cookies are deleted after you close the incognito window. You can browse normally and in incognito mode at the same time by using separate windows." Michael Jeffrey explains that "incognito mode is a window-level mode - all pages viewed within this window are not persisted to the user's history, and incognito pages use a temporary cookie store that is blank at the start of the incognito session".

When you close the incognito window, all the cookies are deleted so you need to log in again the next time you browse in incognito mode. This trick can be used for any other services that allow multiple accounts, but you can only use two accounts at the same time: one in a standard window and the other one in incognito mode.
